Welcome to Yarrawarrah Public School, a school with over half a century history of valuing high quality academic achievement in our unique bush setting. Yarrawarrah Public School provides a wide range of opportunities for every child to experience success in a stimulating, caring and nurturing environment.
Our children's learning is enriched by programs such as STEM, Learning Support, our High Potential and Gifted Education program, and our many exciting and inclusive extra-curricular activities including; chess, dance, drama, music, debating and public speaking, choir, art, and environmental initiatives. We also offer all students the opportunity to compete in a range of competitive and non-competitive sporting activities.

The best decision we made was to send our son to YPS. The support, teacher communication, community vibe, school facilities and just overall FUN that the school provides is second to none. Make sure you have a diary handy though, as YPS run a whole lot of community and school events!
Our introduction into the new world of “big school” has been amazing at YPS. The orientation days and the big buddies made for a seamless transition. It doesn’t take long to feel part of the community in this little school. The teachers and learning support staff are brilliant and allow us to leave our daughter at school confident she is being well cared for.
