Religious education and ethics
NSW schools offer special religious education and special education in ethics. Approved providers deliver these, where available.
Write to the school if you wish to withdraw your child from special religious education, sometimes known as scripture.

At Yarrawarrah Public School our Special Religious Education (SRE) classes are held for 30 minutes on Tuesdays.
Special Religious Education classes K-6 are: Catholic and Combined Christian.

Combined Christian SRE is provided by the combination of the Anglican Diocese of Sydney, the Baptist Union of NSW, the Churches of Christ NSW, the Fellowship of Congregational Churches and the Australian Christian Churches. During the time that SRE/SEE classes are being held, students not attending will be located in a separate space and will participate in meaningful activities. Activities could include reading and private study.
